  1. I am loving my gift certificate for three 1-hour long massages for my bday. I have never had a real massage before and I am enjoying every aroma therapy-dark room-soothing music moment of each and every one of them! Looking forward to your new column! 😊

  2. The most memorable and best gift I ever received was from my father, 2 gold bangle bracelets and an engraved tray for perfume. I still have them and I am pretty sure they are about 40 plus years old. But I cherish them even more now that he has passed. I loved your Circular home blog and look forward to your Modern Domestic column.

  3. The gift of motherhood! I often tell my oldest that he is the greatest gift I have ever received because I always wanted to be a mama and he was the gift that allowed me to be a mama!

  4. Beside God’s gift of my children, my favorite gifts are those that my children have handmade for me. My daughter can hardly contain herself, and usually ends up giving her gift to me early every year. πŸ™‚

  5. My favorite gift(s) I have received has to be the ornaments each of my girls made when they were in 3 year old preschool. They are now 9 and 17! They are big and bright and have the cutest picture on it. I love seeing it every Christmas.

    1. I love these gifts! It’s amazing how different our “favorites” are when we are kids and then when we get older. πŸ™‚ I am sorry for your loss and happy you had that wonderful Christmas and many others with her. xo, E

  7. The best gift I have received is Elijah! After struggling with having another one I have realized just how much of a blessing he really is. I am so lucky to be his mom!

  8. One of the best gifts I ever received was from my mom. For my wedding, she gave me a recipe box with recipe cards that were written by her, my grandmother, my sisters, and my nieces. Treasured forever!

  9. I love to create in the kitchen, and some of my favorite gifts have come from The Spice House downtown Geneva on Third Street. Their spice boxes inspire new delicious concoctions and I use the colder months to practice my recipes. I’m an organic farmer, so when I have too much produce and not a lot of time in the spring, I’m able to crank out healthy meals efficiently πŸ™‚

  10. Hmmmm….. my favorite childhood gift, hands down , was a Tyco race track!!
The one where the cars pin fit into the slot..they had trigger guns to power them..wayyy cool!! Especially for a girl!
(Not sure how my mom scraped up the cash, but I remember that BIG TIME!!)

  11. My best gift was a dozen roses on my 16th birthday from my dad. He was not a flower guy and Mom was usually in charge of the gifts. And that was back in the day when you went in person to the flower shop to order and fill out the card. So it was a wonderful surprise

  12. We had a major house fire and lost most of our belongings. The Christmas after our fire my sister in law gave me a book with all of the photo Christmas cards (of my 8 kids) that I had sent out over 20 years.
Still moves me every time I open it.

  13. I know I’m late on writing this comment but my best Christmas gift was a card I received earlier this week from my brother that I haven’t seen or talked to in 20 years. We reconnected this summer by phone (not text!), talked for 7 hours straight, and are still in touch this holiday season. Now, I don’t know if there is an estranged sister card aisle but the card and his handwritten message had me in tears.
