The best Facebook pages for home inspiration

I find lately I’ve been purposefully selecting businesses and places to follow instead of wildly “liking” and “following”, turning moments spent online from wasteful time suck to purposefully productive.

In an attempt to wipe my social media slate clean, I looked at the pages I followed and decided that if a publication/company/person was simply vomiting out information, I had to say goodbye.

What was left was a news feed of beautiful images, interesting content, and humorous posts that I felt confident sharing with my friends and followers. This collection of fail safe home lovers inspire me daily. I hope they will bring you joy in creating a tailored home that undeniably defines your space…

For color

A newer page, Color Stories founder, Cathe Huynh-Sison is definitely not new to the world of design and color. I love the Color Story gift guides and Cathe’s knack for pulling hues together. A TOTAL inspiration for color palettes for your home and beyond.

For overall home inspiration

Apartment Therapy

Don’t be turned away by the word “apartment”, my friends. This home and garden website and Facebook feed will inspire you in ways you’ve never imagined. Whether you live in a small cottage or an epic sprawl reminiscent to Downton Abbey, the home design suggestions and real life resources are invaluable.

For tabletop and linens

I have been swooning over this Milwaukee-based tabletop, linen, and home décor boutique for years, not to mention their kitchen design firm in Geneva, Illinois. A gasp-worthy shop to experience in person, the Past Basket Facebook page is a lovely reflection of not only what’s in store, but the creative and heartfelt service you will get to outfit your home. The owner, Linda McFadden, is the definition of home economist extraordinaire.

For food

Sweet Paul Magazine

Oh, my – FOOD. Beautiful images of food and recipes and simple crafts for home. This is where I go for inspiration for everything homemade and handmade and my absolute favorite part of this site is the mantra inspired by the creator’s granny – “perfection is boring.”
